Lena Hornkohl studied Law in Heidelberg and Uppsala. After obtaining her first state examination in 2014, she completed her legal traineeship at the Karlsruhe Higher Regional Court (with internships, among others, at the European Commission) and completed her second state examination in 2016.

Academic curriculum: Victoriano Nazareth has a degree in History from the University of Coimbra and has attended the Postgraduate Course in Documentary Sciences at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Coimbra. Victoriano also has a specialization in Total Quality Management by INA.

Carmen Herrero Suárez

Academic curriculum: Carmen Herrero Suárez is a Law Graduate from the Universidad de Valladolid and has a Doctor iuris (Ph.D) from the Universidad de Valladolid -Honors. She has an LL.M in Trade Regulation, with specialization in Antitrust and Industrial Property, by the New York University (Fulbright Graduate Scholarship).

Carmen is a Full Professor of Commercial Law at the University of Valencia with extensive academic experience in the fields of competition law, digital markets, financial markets and consumer protection. She served as the President of the Competition Commission of the Valencian Community for four years, and is currently a member of the Boards of Red Académica de Defensa de la Competencia and of W@Competition Iberia.

Eduardo Silva de Freitas

Eduardo is currently completing his PhD at Erasmus University Rotterdam as part of the NWO-funded Vici project Affordable Access to Justice, with a research focus on litigation crowdfunding. Alongside his doctoral research, he works as a Junior Researcher in Private International Law at the T.M.C. Asser Institute.

Francesca Antifora
Francesca Antifora

Manager of Ius Omnibus

Francesca worked for several years as a climate change specialist, providing technical assistance to African, Caribbean, and Pacific countries. She also worked with sustainable trade and supply chains in her previous role as an international partnerships and fundraising manager. She thrives on bringing together diverse partners, leading NGOs, and crafting fundraising and outreach efforts that make a real difference.

Joana Moreira
Joana Moreira

Administrative Coordinator and Researcher

Joana is an Administrative Coordinator and Researcher at Ius Omnibus, where she has been contributing since 2024. She began her career at the organisation as an Administrative Assistant and Researcher and has since taken on increasing responsibilities. Alongside her professional work, Joana has built a strong academic background in law. Between 2022 and 2026, she served as a Guest Assistant Professor at the European University in Lisbon, teaching Geography, Business Law, Administrative Law, Administrative Procedural Law, Commercial Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
